THINGS TO REMEMBER
BEFORE
Avoid drinking any alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours before the glutathione infusion treatment the reason is alcohol makes the blood thinner, increasing the chances for bruising. These medications should not be taken at least two weeks before and after the treatment: anti-inflammatory/blood thinning/anti-coagulant medications. Please consult your physician regarding this possibility before proceeding with the procedure. Bring your physician all the relevant information regarding any other supplements you may be using to avoid the possibility of side effects due to any interactions. Also let the Doctor know if you have asthma because the glutathione infusion treatment might trigger an attack.
AFTER
Avoid alcohol consumption for 12 hours. Avoid exposure to sun during Glutathione treatments. Regular use of the prescribed sunscreen & moisturizer is advisable. Do consume a lot of water & add fruits that contain Vitamin C to your daily diet.
SIDE EFFECTS
Just like any other medical treatment, glutathione IV infusion may bring along a few side effects usually associated with it. Generally mild, common side effects include headaches, fatigue, and nausea, which should, in most cases, subside on their own a few hours after the treatment.
Note that different persons react differently to medical treatments; thus, some may cause further side effects, perhaps more severe. Should there be any other weird symptoms appearing after the glutathione IV infusion, make sure you contact a physician.
